Kajol Devgan

Kajol Devgan, popularly known as Kajol, is an Indian film actress appearing in Hindi films. Kajol made her acting debut in the film Bekhudi (1992) and had her first commercial success with her second film Baazigar (1993) opposite Shahrukh Khan, with whom she would act in such popular movies as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and My Name is Khan (2010).

Her performances in all four of these films were praised and the first three earned her three Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. After Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001, she took a sabbatical from full time acting for five years. She made a comeback with Kunal Kohli's Fanaa (2006), for which she received her fourth Best Actress Award at the Filmfare. Kajol is regarded as one of India's most successful and talented actresses. She is married to fellow Indian actor Ajay Devgn.

Kajol was born in Mumbai of Bengali-Marathi descent. Her mother Tanuja is an actress, while her late father Shomu Mukherjee was a film director and producer. Her late maternal aunt, Nutan is the record holder for the most (five times) Filmfare Awards for Best Actress, and her late maternal grandmother Shobhna Samarth and great grandmother Rattan Bai had both been involved in Hindi cinema.

Her paternal uncles are film producers; Joy Mukherjee and Deb Mukherjee. Kajol's paternal grandfather, Sashadhar Mukherjee, was a filmmaker. His wife Satirani Devi, Kajol's paternal grandmother, was the sister of Ashok Kumar, Anoop Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Kajol's cousins Rani Mukerji, Sharbani Mukherjee and Mohnish Behl are also Bollywood actors; whereas her cousin Ayan Mukerji is a director. Kajol's younger sister Tanisha Mukherjee is also an actress.

Kajol married Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan on February 24, 1999. The couple have 2 children, a daughter named Nysa (born in 2003) and a son named Yug (born in 2010). On April 10, 2008, Kajol's father died after suffering from a cardiac arrest. His funeral was held the same day and was attended by other Bollywood personalities.

Kajol left her school St. Josephs convent at Panchgani and started her career at the age of seventeen. Although her debut film, Bekhudi (1992) was a box office failure, her performance was noticed and she went on to work with big production houses in India. In 1993, she shot to fame with her second film, Baazigar. The film was her first major hit, and her pairing with Shahrukh Khan was appreciated. She later went on to make a popular pairing with him in a number of films, all of which were box office successes.

Bhairavi Goswami

Bhairavi Goswami, (born 12 November 1984) is an Indian-born actress, fashion model, television host and humanitarian.

Bhairavi was born in South India to parents of mixed heritage. Her father is part Bengali part South Indian and her mother is Creole. Bhairavi left India at the age of 6 to return as a teenager to pursue a career in Modeling/Acting, spending most of her adolescent life in the United Kingdom.

Bhairavi’s career began as a teenager when she participated in the coveted “Gladrags Mega Model” contest. Gladrags was followed by Bhairavi winning the “Pantaloons Model Quest” & runner up at the “AXN Hot & Wild” contest. Times of India even quoted, “She’s the Paris Hilton of India, who loves to socialise”.

She is the only Indian model to have been featured in TIME, Telerama, Courier International & Paris Match. She has modelled for top designers such as Ritu Kumar, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Narendra Kumar, Archana Kochar, Shane & Falguni Peacock, Azeem Khan, Satya Paul, Libas, Deepal Mehta, Anshu Modi etc. Graced the covers of several magazines and featured in innumerable fashion features of regional, national and international magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Savvy, Gladrags, Sensationz, Elan, Occasions, Mans World, New Woman, Outlook, Gurlz, Society, Femina, Femina Girl, Woman’s Era, Meri Saheli, Vanitha, La Mode, Upper Crust, Woman, Elle, L’Officiel, GT-Guything, 4D Woman, Movie, Newsweek.

She is also known to be a women who has controversially employed breast implants in the course of her modeling career. A result of which she acts against accepted Indian values and morays all the while being a strong voice for sexually liberated women.

After the runaway success of her debut - Sagar Bellary’s superhit movie Bheja Fry, she acted in the children's hit composite animation film ‘My Friend Ganesha 2’. In her next film she plays a glamorous girl in Mr. Bhatti On Chutti, starring Anupam Kher in lead role and featuring Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo appearance.

Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran (born September 11, 1982), also known by the mononym Shriya, is an Indian film actress, model and host. She is noted for working in several of the regional industries of Indian cinema, appearing in several mainstream Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films.

After her feature film debut in 2001 with Ishtam, she received her first commercial success in 2002 by playing the role of Bhanu in the Telugu film Santhosham.

Subsequently, she appeared in several Telugu films with prominent actors, while also making in-roads in the Hindi film industry as well as the Tamil film industry.

In 2007, Shriya starred alongside Rajinikanth in Sivaji: The Boss, which became the highest grossing Tamil film of the time. She has since appeared in films such as Azhagiya Tamil Magan and Kanthaswamy in Tamil and appeared in high budget Hindi pictures such as Mission Istanbul, roles which have established her as one of the leading actresses in the South Indian film industry.

Shriya also played the lead role in an American-Indian crossover film, The Other End of the Line. Shriya has also featured as the brand ambassador for several stores across India appearing for prominent beauty and health products.

Furthermore her work as a philanthropist, has seen her being attached to noted charity organistaions whilst she has recently pledged to open a spa for the visually challenged.

Deepal Shaw

Deepal Shaw (born 21 February 1986), is an Indian actress, model who works in Bollywood movies.

Shaw was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to parents originally from Uttar Pradesh. She studied in D.P.Y.A. High School, Dadar. Her mother was born in Lucknow, while her father was born in Ayodhya. She has a younger brother.

Shaw began her career as a model, taking part in the 2004 Miss India beauty pageant, advancing to the final round before being cut. After this setback, she rededicated herself to striving for success in the Indian entertainment industry, beginning a career as a singer.

She released her first album (entitled Baby Doll, after her adopted stage name) in 2004. She followed up her strong debut with Baby Doll Chapter 2, featuring many hit remixes such as "Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar" and "Rangeela Re."

Her music consists mainly of modernized remixes of old Hindi songs, entailing a very bass-heavy sound with some hip hop elements. She is currently on Saregama India Records. MTV India has largely been responsible for promoting her music, by playing her sexy and extremely popular music videos.

Riding the waves of her burgeoning music career, Shaw decided to parlay her success into a career in Bollywood. She signed on to act in Hriday Shetty's Daag - The Shades of Love. However, the project was shelved shortly thereafter.
